The Kinte Center is working to publish a Community Directory for the CityEast community. Businesses listed in the directory will be mostly those based in the CityEast community. Publishing the directory should result in an increase business sales, Also publishing the directory should facilitate “Keeping the Dollar in the Community”,  create more “In community” jobs and reduce crime All business based in the CityEast are entitled to a free listing in the directory. The directory
will serve several additional purposes as follows:

1. The directory will bring visibility to the community’s local  businesses.
2. The directory will provide a means by which the community’s residents can locate and shop with local businesses.
3. The directory will provide low cost (“At Cost”) advertisingOpportunities for CityEast based businesses.
   
4. The directory will provide listings of various services
   (Government and Private) available to the CityEast
   community’s residents.

 

DIRECTORY CONTENT

The CityEast Community Directory will contain the following sections:

1. Maps and Street Guides
2. Area Codes and International Calling Codes
3. Local Government Contact Information
4. County, State and U.S. Government Contact Information
5. Community and Health Services Contact Information
6. Community Entertainment Information
7. Information About Community Parks and Sights
8. White Pates listing of Residents and Businesses
9. Yellow Pages Listing of Businesses, with business Ads.
10. Restaurants and Restaurant Menus.
11. Money Saving Business Coupons

DISTRIBUTION

The CityEast Community Directory will be distributed door to door to some 30,000 households in the CityEast community which has a population of over 00,000.

 

BUSINESS ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES

All Businesses in the Kinte Center’s Database of Businesses  will be contacted in the near future in a couple months or so) and extended an opportunity to take out a low cost Ad in the CityEast Community Directory.

 

PUBLICATION TIME FRAME

The Kinte Center’s estimated time frame for publishing the CityEast Community Directory is by April 2007.

 

HOW TO ENSURE YOUR BUSINESS’ FREE LISTING IN THE DIRECTORY

If your business is based in the CityEast community it is likely already in our Database of Businesses. But, you would be well advised to submit the required information so that we may check to make sure your business is in our database or will be added... To submit the information required to ensure your business listing, click here.

 

Upon receipt of your information we will check to either confirm that your business is already in our Database of Businesses or add your business to our database.  Under either circumstance, we will promptly email you confirming that your business is listed in our Database of Businesses.
